Quality does matter. Try and avoid filler like cornmeal, soy and wheat. Should be human grade quality!
For special treats and training, I use Dick VanPatten's Natural Balance food rolls- yum- smells and looks like salami!
Available in big box pet stores and mom and pop stores alike. Chub or the rolls were NOT involved in recall.
I dice up small pieces for rewards...like the size of the tip of my little finger.
Makes it economical to add to daily food ration.
